I agree that it's a bit out of phase but you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. David McClain here gives us all a fascinating hour on some hack called William Shakespeare who wrote some plays in the 16th/17th Century.

Have you seen or read about the archaelogical dig at the site of Shakespear's house in Stratford upon Avon. It appears he and Anne bought it once he had made some money in London. It shows that he more than kept up connections with both Stratford and Anne.

Absolutely fabulous podcast! This made my mid-day work out a delight! It also convinced me to get on-line, finally get 'round to rating the History of England Podcast as one of my favorites and make a donation. Your regular episodes are some of my most enjoyed podcasts and this "sidetrip" was just brilliant!
